Website Information Request/Quotation Request Form Submission Issues
It has been brought to our attention
from early September our Quotation Request and our Request for Information
emails have not been reaching us. This appears to have been caused by changes to
anti-spam setting introduced by our website hosting service.

quotation request anytime between early September and 23rd October, we apologise
for this interruption to our service. The problem has now been identified and
fixed and we would love to hear from you again. We normally respond to web

New
Year - New Centres!
Euroculture is celebrating 2008 by expanding it's selection of French
centres available to UK Schools. As usual, the new centres have all been subject
to a thorough site inspections by members of the Euroculture team. We started the ball rolling by posting details of our fifth centre in
Normandy -
located at Grandcamp Maisy - and have now added the details of a superb new
location at Romorantin in the Loire Valley and
a residence on the rural borders of Normandy and Brittany in
St Fraimbault. Two new centres in the
heart of Paris will soon follow - keep a close eye on the
Website over the next few weeks as more information is made available. (Jan '08)
Euroculture Makes Pledge to 'Learning
Outside the Classroom' Manifesto
Euroculture is delighted to announce its support of the Learning Outside the
Classroom Manifesto, which was launched by the Secretary of State for Education
and Skills in November 2006. The Manifesto is a ‘movement’ or joint undertaking
that many different stakeholders have helped to create and to which anyone can
sign up.
We support the Manifesto because we believe it will help to ensure that all
children and young people have a variety of high quality experiences outside the
classroom environment, as an essential part of their learning and development.
We will therefore be working with schools, local authorities and other
organisations committed to providing an exciting range of teaching and learning
opportunities outside the classroom, specifically on developing trips to our
nearest neighbour France.
As the role of the Manifesto is to make a difference, we have pledged our
support by making public the actions we are taking to deliver
high quality learning outside the classroom. For the full text of our pledge and
more details about our commitment to the aims of the Manifesto, please click
here.

Scout and About in France - 'A
Weekend to Remember'
After forty years in the business of school travel, Euroculture achieved another milestone with our first Scout Group visit to France. Forty
Scouts from the Apollo Explorer Group, Gravesend District, crossed the Channel to
Normandy for the 2006 Remembrance weekend with some extra special events
arranged by Euroculture. To read the excellent journal of their memorable trip,
please click here.
Many of Euroculture's centres in France are
ideal for Scout expeditions. The four ski centres in the Alps also provide
particularly excellent opportunities for a wide range of adventurous outdoor
activities - even when there is no snow on the slopes! If you are thinking of
organising a trip overseas for your Scout or Explorer Scout Group, then why not

King Edward VI Invades
Normandy!
King Edward VI Community School from Totnes in Devon recently returned from a
highly successful visit to our Normandy centre. During their stay they visited
many World War 2 sites as well as seeing the famous Bayeux Tapestry and
enjoying their French lessons. They were also 'bowled over' by an evening
playing Ten-Pin!
Our photo - kindly provided by the school -
shows the group enjoying one of their excursions. Click

The Primary Key to France -
Open the Door to KS2
The
government's commitment to give every child between the ages of 7 and 11 the
entitlement to learn a new language means a fundamental change in our approach
to language teaching in the UK. The Key Stage 2 Framework for languages means
that many primary schools are looking to visit France for the first time. We
have therefore given careful consideration to selecting centres most suitable
for 10 and 11 year olds and have chosen some ideal locations which offer a safe,
secure and happy atmosphere in small communities close to the Channel coast.
You can be confident in us arranging all aspects of your school trip
to France. We will work for you to produce a programme to suit your particular
requirements and aims. We will make all the necessary travel arrangements from
your school gates and back again. Stimulating itineraries will be devised,
whether the trip is broadly leisure or with a particular aspect
of the national curriculum in mind. Insurance cover is included and full risk assessments are also taken care of for you
- less red tape for you! Click here to find out more about our fully inclusive
packages.
