Historic city on the ‘Three Country Border’
Close to both the Belgium and Dutch borders, the historic city of Aachen provides an excellent location for a school trip to Germany.
The coronation of over thirty German kings took place at the city’s spectacular ancient cathedral which is also the final resting place of the Emperor Charlemagne. The cathedral was in fact the first site in Germany to become a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Aachen is also renowned for its stunning Christmas Market which takes place for four weeks each year starting in late November. If you would like to visit a school trip to Aachen please complete our request a quotation form or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
