Visit the Nord-Pas de Calais site Nord-Pas de Calais
The northernmost region of France has much to offer visitors with its rich history and traditions as well as its fine countryside and coastline.
Visit the Boulogne web site Boulogne-sur-Mer
This historic town is a mixture of old and new, with its walled citadel overlooking the busiest fishing port in France. Also one of the child-friendly 'Kid Station' resorts.
Visit Nausicaa's official web site Nausicaä
"A porthole through which you will discover a message from the sea". An appropriate attraction in a town with its fishing heritage, Nausicaä - the National Sea Centre - offers an entertaining, educational & sicentific focus on the marine environment.
Visit the Le Touquet web site La Coupole
Impressive bunker built by the Germans to house and launch V2 rockets. Now a History and Remembrance centre with a strong educational and cultural mission.

Just a short drive along the coast lies the renowned seaside resort of Le Touquet. A smart and elegant town, its long, sandy beach stretches for 2 kilometres. Located on the seafront is Aqualud (open February to November), an exciting water park with both indoor and outdoor pools, flumes and waterslides.
Visit the Saint Omer web site Saint Omer
The historic city of Saint Omer is one of the main attractions of Pas de Calais. In the 'Grand Place', you will find the impressive Notre Dame Cathedral which dates back to the Thirteenth Century. Saint Omer has several museums to enjoy and why not take a boat trip on the River Aa which runs through the lower part of the city.

Lillle was awarded the honour of being the European City of Culture for 2004. In the Palais des Beaux-Arts, Lille boasts the largest museum in France after the Louvre with an impressive collection of paintings and sculptures. In addition, Charles de Gaulle was born in Lille and you can visit his birthplace at the Maison Natale Charles de Gaulle.
