The Edwardian creation of Englishman Sir John Whitney, Hardelot is an elegant seaside town renowned for its beach activities. Our residential centre is located just thirty minutes from the Channel Tunnel, on the coast midway between the popular school trip town of Boulogne-sur-Mer and the attractive tourist town of Le Touquet. The coast offers plentiful opportunities to sample French life with visits to markets, traditional bakeries, chocolate factories and so on. The renowned marine-life attraction Nausicaä is close by in Boulogne, whilst it is also a great base for touring many fascinating historical sites from both World Wars.

The accommodation building, its setting and the town of Hardelot make it ideal for KS2 visits and especially so for Primary Schools making their first overseas trip. Not far across the channel, away from busy traffic and a short distance from the centre of a very quiet resort.
